September 23, 2009Sofmos Calendar 1.2 released.

This stage of development was devoted primarily for enhancing of the internal application structure, preparing for future major release. So, there are only a few minor enhancements visible to user:

  • Works correct on Vista now.
  • Now, you can drag&drop a picture file just to calendar window to set background.
  • Picture size is not limited to 100% now. So, background picture need not fit the calendar page, and you can use only a part of picture to fill background.
March 13, 2008Sofmos Calendar 1.1 released.

This release contains a few minor updates only. The most noticeable are:

  • Product name was changed to "Sofmos Calendar" according to new site name.
  • "Restore desktop" menu was added. Now you can both easy place calendar on desktop and restore back original wallpaper.
  • Preview window displays calendar more precisely.
  • Most recently used documents menu was added.
    January 8, 2008A little rebranding. Site name changed from Softmos.com to Sofmos.com.

    The old name had too many successive consonants. The new one should sound better and be more easy to pronounce.

    December 2, 2007New product, IE Surfgear 1.0 released.

    IE Surfger is an Internet Explorer add-in which can make any web page easy to read by removing poor design elements. Version 1.0 is freeware.

    October 7, 2005Softmos Calendar 1.0 released.
    August 21, 2005Softmos Calendar 1.0 Beta-1 released.
    July 27, 2005A new product, Softmos Calendar 1.0 preliminary beta is available.
    June 14, 2005Control Sheets 1.1 released.

    Minor product update. Now it is possible to save/restore icons positions manually by user command.

    March 25, 2005Dial-up Server Manager shareware project is closed.

    While modern technologies like wireless networks are replacing dial-up access more and more, it looks worthless to develop this product further.
